Hello, Is this Freda update no longer support Pin to start (books) feature? If No, how can I do that?

Hi, the password feature is still there.  From the main program menu, tap 'settings' and then from the list on the left tap 'behaviour'.  The top setting on the list there is 'password'.  Tap on 'password' to enter the password that you want to use, then tap 'apply' to close the popup, and then to save the new settings tap 'save' in the app bar at the top.  Now, the next time you start Freda, you will see a black screen with a password prompt, and until you enter your password you won't be able to use the app.

To remove the password, just go back to the settings page, and enter nothing for the password.

Hi, and sorry about the misunderstanding.  'Pin to Start' is not available in the current version of Freda - though I am looking into how I might add it to the app again. There is a slight difficulty here because Freda on Windows used to be a 'Universal Windows Platform' (UWP) application, which meant there was a simple way for the app to create those pinned tiles - but Microsoft are ending support for this type of application, so Freda isn't UWP any more.  Anyhow, I will be working on it.

The new release (5.0 5) includes the 'pin a tile' action again (as an option 'tile' on the menu that pops up when you right-click an entry in the library).
