short of opening my SD-Card and changing to a specific directory, is there any way to see?

I am using Calibre as my library, and  also see my onedrive lists.
thanks.

Hi, I guess that in practice you're asking "is there a way to get a list of all the epub files in or beneath some folder on an Android device?".  Freda doesn't provide a way to do that (mainly because it would mean asking for permission to access your whole file system, which users might find confusing or indeed worrying).

Probably the best bet is to use some third party file management tool (I'd recommend 'File Manager' from simplemobiletools.com) and search the storage card (or whatever folder you want to check) looking for files matching '.epub'.  That will show you a list of all the epub files anywhere under the selected folder; to open a file from the list, just tap it and it will open in Freda.
