I have about 100 books in Freda and I've placed many bookmarks/annotations in them, is there an upper limit that I may hit at some point? Appreciated

There is no upper limit as such, but if you want to be sure that your bookmarks/annotations are safe, I would always recommend making a backup of them.  You can do that using the 'backup (save/load/merge)' item on the menu on the main screen of the app.  That way, if there is an application crash or a fault with your device, you'll be able to restore the bookmarks/annotations from the backup (which is usually saved to OneDrive)
