I want to add a particular dictionary for the search function in freda. But I don't know how to add the path.

The dictionary i want to add has the following path
C:\Program Files (x86)\COED11\coed11.exe

I am not good with coding, so can you tell me what to add in define text in the dictionary?

Whenever I try to dl a book from Smashwords it never works. It goes through the motions (showing a very quick downloading bar, placing the book in the bookshelf) The book comes up blank, or it gives me an error when I try to open it saying that the file did not dl or the file is corrupt. This happens to all book that I try to dl paid and free. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you use it on a large tablet like MS Surface book 2, in portrait mode it is too wide for comfortable reading. Setting  80 for the border does not help, it just mainly makes the page shorter. The setting regarding margins does not seem to do anything to help. In Moon + Reader for Android, you have full control of all four margins and no limits. This is really needed in Freda since it works best on Windows tablets and they tend to have larger screens.

Is it possible to incorporate a PDF reading capability into Freda? I read a fair number of academic works in that format, and it would be nice to use the same reader for them. My current reader of choice on Android, Moon+ Reader, does have both mobi/epub and pdf reading in the premium version, but it is only available on Android, and I would really like to use one reader that offers multi-device synchonization and is cross-platform (Windows/Android).

I think (not sure) I've seen this behaviour previously, but it is certainly present in the latest version.

Steps to reproduce:
1) open a book in two-page mode (haven't tested other ones)
2) switch focus to a different window (Chrome, for example), leaving Freda visible in the background on your screen
3) left-click on the rightmost page, simultaneously switching focus back to Freda and turning the page
4) left-right arrow keys no longer function

Going back to the shelf and opening the book again resolves the problem.

I'm on Windows 10.

I'm reading this book http://m2.chitanka.info/cache/dl/Kevin_A...177-b.epub on my Win 10 phone using Freda, but on the beginning of chapter 8 the app gets stuck and displays empty screen.

Enjoying Freda on my devices and I love it. However... on my Samsung Tab S2. SM-T813 Freda will freeze on opening at times. When she does open, when I try to open a book the page won't render and I have to go to recents and swipe everything away before I can use the device again.


Most of my devices are custom roms Lineage based. Freda works an all including a hacked Kindle Fire HD10 and my tabs with stock roms. Only on the Tab S2 (of course the most expensive device) do things go wonky. Attached please find a screenshot with my system specs.
